When I was 5 years old,

my mother always told me

that happiness was the key to life.

제가 5살 때, 저희 어머니는

저에게 행복이 삶의 열쇠라고 늘 말씀하셨어요.

When I went to school,

they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up.

제가 학교에 갔을 때,

선생님들은 제게 커서 무엇이 되고 싶냐고 물었습니다.

I wrote down 'happy'.

저는 '행복한'이라고 답했어요.

They told me I didn;t understand the assignment,

그러자 그들은 저에게 제가 과제를 제대로 이해하지 못한 것 같다고 얘기했습니다.

and I told them they didn't understand life.

그래서 제가 말했죠. 그들은 삶을 이해하지 못하고 있다구요...
